TikTok is based in Los Angeles, with global offices in London, Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Jakarta, Mumbai, Moscow, and other 20 areas. 


We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to help us grow our IT environment. The IT Support Specialist is essentially an IT Business Partner who is the first point of contact for end-users. As an IT Business Partner, your focus is not just to resolve incidents, but to find the underlying problem and develop long term solutions.


Typical responsiblities:

. Provide top-notch IT support to our local offices as well as our world-wide remote office


. Interface daily with other technical staff, and work on assignments and delivering services to end users

. Monitor our corporate and development infrastructure and assist in its growth

. Build, set-up, maintain, implement, and troubleshoot technology problems related to laptops, desktops, servers and systems that affect end-user productivity.

. Support both Windows and Mac systems in the corporate environment. This includes desktops, laptops, servers and systems. 

Additional responsibilities:

. Guide user to use self-service IT resources, such as ticketing system and knowledge base

. Provide event support, setup AV and live stream equipment

. Perform basic troubleshooting tasks and operating system support on Microsoft Windows

OS, Mac OS X and network services

. Mobile device setup and post installation support 

. Create IT instructions 

Required Skills:

. College Degree in Computer or Systems Science or Engineering or 2 plus

years of relevant discipline.

. Excellent customer service, organizational, prioritization, multitasking and communication.

. Good understanding in at least two of the following skill-sets required within IT Operations: Windows, Mac, Linux, Networking, Scripting or Automation, Application troubleshooting and backup.

. Systematic problem solving approach with the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make progress in areas where a high ambiguity and uncertainty exist.

. Strong working knowledge of common applications: email (Gmail), GSuite, desktop publishing (Microsoft Office), web browsers (Safari, Chrome...Etc.)

. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, willingness to learn new procedures and tasks

Desired Additional Skills:

. Bilingual (Mandarin/English)

. Hardware/software/network training and/or certification in systems (such as CCNA, MCSA, RHCSA, etc.)

. Basic scripting cabability (Shell, python, Perl PHP, C+++, Java)

. Experience setting-up and deploying Audio/Visual equipment
